Mesteshukar ButiQ [MBQ] is a network of social economy enterprises and craftsmen
working on revaluing traditional Roma craftsmanship. MBQ provides premium lifestyle products with a story and design that stands out in any context, using a blend of centuries old techniques combined with contemporary design.
The result from a collaboration with them, came in a family of objects made, as the name says it, by contrasts. It’s basically a series of trays and vases, made out wood, brass and copper. The bases, made out of turned wood, served as bases for the copper/brass elements. The contrasts come in materials as well as in the volumes that each has. All of the pieces that compose each object were made by Roma craftsmanship.
