“Eight minutes old” is a family of sculptured objects and light installations. They’re part of a small series of two compositions and are realized with the association of materials such as wood and glass, using the light tube as a central piece. The name is represented by the length of the journey the light makes from the sun to our planet in order to reach us in its familiar form. The base of the lamp is a masive volume of oak wood, that is worked on lathe and offers support for the glass and the neon. The lamp is easily adaptable in any interior, being a great asset for the space, with a neutral cosy light.
